The idea is to sell these at £1 each to help raise funds for the Church. As mobile phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during an emergancy under the name 'ICE' (In Case of Emergency) in your mobile phone. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would be able to contact the right person by simply dialling the number you have stored as 'ICE' in your mobile phone. If you want to include more than one contact person store them as ICE 1, ICE 2 and ICE 3 etc. Church badges Mon 28 March 2016 Joymount Church badges are now again on sale at £2.00 each. All proceeds are in aid of church funds. Badges can be bought from the information desk of from Billy McCartney. Joymount Fund Raising Mon 28 March 2016 Pens and Key Rings at £1 each and torches that require no batteries at £3 each are available at the information desk. Use of Halls Mon 28 March 2016 It would be very helpful and would save us money if Church Organisations not requiring the Halls or rooms on any night would please inform Church Office. Church Organisations Mon 28 March 2016 The Church Committe would like to remind all organisations using the Church facilities to check the Church halls etc. before leaving and locking up. Please ensure all lights are switched off, all toilets checked, taps are off and all doors are closed including emergency doors. NI Fire and Rescue Service Mon 28 March 2016 NI Fire and Rescue Service is urging everyone to avail of a free home Fire Safety Check. Local Firefighters will come into your home and help make it safe. They will check for people at risk, appliances that could cause a fire, help with any actions to avoid a fire and most importantly check that a smoke alarm is working.
